Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (RCL) - Get Report is expected to report adjusted net income of $515.4 million, or $2.45 a share, on sales of $2.8 billion before the market opens on Thursday, based on a FactSet survey of 16 analysts.
In the same period a year ago, the company posted earnings of $2.27 a share on sales of $2.3 billion. It reported net income of $218.7 million.
The stock has fallen 11.9% since the company last reported earnings on May. 1.
Quarterly estimates have fallen 2.5 cents a share in the past month.
Royal Caribbean Cruises is currently trading at a price-to-forward-earnings ratio of 11.2 based on the 12-month estimates of 20 analysts surveyed by FactSet.
The company offered guidance of $2.45 to $2.50 a share at the time of its last earnings report.
In the upcoming quarter analysts are forecasting adjusted net income of $910.5 million, or $4.35 a share, on sales of $3.2 billion.
