Microsoft (MSFT) - Get Free Report continued its track record of beating expectations when it reported its September quarter earnings after the close on Wednesday.
The software giant reported earnings per share of $1.38 versus consensus expectations of $1.25, according to FactSet, while quarterly revenue of $33.06 billion beat estimates of $32.15 billion.
Despite the beat, shares of Microsoft were falling 1.2% to $135.56 after hours.
