Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. (HPE - Get Report) is expected to report net income of $550.4 million, or 40 cents a share, on sales of $7.3 billion after the market closes on Tuesday, based on a FactSet survey of 22 analysts.
In the same period a year ago, the company posted earnings of 44 cents a share on sales of $7.8 billion. It reported net income of $850 million.
The company offered guidance of $0.40 to $0.44 a share on May. 24. Shares have fallen 11.4% since then.
Quarterly estimates have fallen 1.1 cent a share in the past month.
In the upcoming quarter analysts are forecasting net income of $582.3 million, or 43 cents a share, on sales of $7.5 billion.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise is currently trading at a price-to-forward-earnings ratio of 7.4 based on the 12-month estimates of 23 analysts surveyed by FactSet.
