Disney ( DIS - Get Report) and Target ( TGT - Get Report) have joined forces to create "shop-in-shop" Disney stores at  25 Target locations. The new spots will open in October, and the two companies have plans to add 40 more within about a year from then.

The retailer is also adding  Target.com/Disneystore to its website, which is expected to fully launch Oct. 4.

The Target-Disney stores will offer some 450 items, including toys, games, and clothing. About 100 products to be for sale were previously only available at Disney retail locations.

Most the items for sale will cost around $20, with the priciest around $200.

Disney is a holding in Jim Cramer's Action Alerts PLUS member club.
