Facebook (FB - Get Report) CEO Mark Zuckerberg is slated to discuss a variety of issues facing his company and the internet Wednesday in an interview at the Aspen Ideas Festival.

Zuckerberg will speak with Harvard Law Professor and former Obama Administration official Cass Sunstein.

The discussion will focus on "some of the biggest questions facing the internet -- including government regulation, shifts to privacy, and innovation," according to the festival's program.

Facebook has come under increasing scrutiny in the past year and a half over a series of controversies including allowing personal data of millions of users to be harvested by Cambridge Analytica, a now-defunct political research firm with ties to archconservative financier Robert Mercer, and former Trump Adviser Steve Bannon.

Last week the company announced it was working to develop a cryptocurrency to be used by its members, prompting a quick response from lawmakers calling for a moratorium on the move.

Facebook is an underwriter of the Aspen Ideas Festival.
