NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- "This is the most rumored day I've seen in ages," Jim Cramer said on his Thursday Stop Trading! segment on CNBC.

Cramer said he was overwhelmed by all the news Thursday, and that the market's been "schizophrenic," as it traded on the euro, oil and job creation.

As

BP

(BP) - Get Report

continues to grapple with its leaking oil well, shares of shallow-water driller

Hercules Offshore

(HERO)

are surging.

Cramer said that the firm could be hired for relief-well drilling, making it a "great homerun" for them, he said.

On Wednesday, President Obama endorsed natural gas for the first time, as he addressed an audience in Pittsburgh. Cramer observed that on-land drilling plays have been going up since the president communicated his belief that natural gas procurement is the lesser of evils when compared with coal mining and offshore drilling.

In light of this,

Chesapeake Energy

(CHK) - Get Report

was one of the natural gas stocks Cramer recommended investors consider.

On Thursday, Cramer also mentioned the growing interest in cloud computing plays such as

salesforce.com

(CRM) - Get Report

and

VMware

(VMW) - Get Report

.

Cramer commented that people who are buying computer plays are not reaching for companies that merely talk about doing it.

As far as telecom plays are concerned, Cramer said he likes

Sprint

(S) - Get Report

for its unique 4G smart phone services, and

Vodafone

(VOD) - Get Report

for its wireless growth.

Cramer said he also continues to like

Apple

(AAPL) - Get Report

, whose CEO Steve Jobs is "the greatest industrialist since Henry Ford," in Cramer's opinion.
