Jim Cramer says that a Trump administration proposal to ban laptop computers on airline flights to the United States could be "the single greatest thing that could happen to Apple (AAPL) - Get Apple Inc. Report ."

"It would be incredible," because passengers would have to use things like iPhones to "watch everything," Cramer said Wednesday during an exclusive conference call with members of his Action Alerts PLUS club for investors.

Apple is widely expected to introduce an updated version of the iPhone later this year, marking the 10th anniversary of the device. Sales of the iPhone have driven Apple's gains over the past decade as it became the single most valuable company in the world.
