All eyes are set on Boeing's  (BA) - Get Report new CEO, David Calhoun, as he assumes his role. 

The company's image needs a complete makeover as it's image is tarnished by two plane crashes that killed 346 people, and grounding of hundreds of Boeing 737 Max planes.

He had an amazing run at General Electrics  (GE) - Get Report for more than two decades where he oversee everything from GE lighting to GE transportation. His amazing talent took him to being appointed as a vice chairman of the company and also a member of GE's Board of Directors in 2015.

Calhoun then quit GE to become a CEO at VNU in 2006. He was responsible for rebranding the company as Nielsen Holdings. He also became the company's executive chairman in 2014.

His popularity helped him land on the board of directors in various companies including Caterpillar, Gates Corporation and Medtronic.

He served on Boeing's board since 2009 and was appointed as the chairman of the company in October 2019. 

 On January 13, 2020, he began his journey as CEO of Boeing.
