Apple Inc. (AAPL) didn't disappoint.

Apple was the last of the market-dominating FAANG stocks to report its June quarter earnings, and it reported earnings per share of $2.34 vs. consensus estimates of $2.16. Revenues also came in at $53.3 billion, ahead of expectations of $52.3 billion. Significantly, Apple's average selling price came in at $724, ahead of consensus expectations of $693. 

Share were rising about 2% after-hours following the release of the report.
