Activision Blizzard Inc.'s (ATVI - Get Report) earnings were leaked by Dow Jones News Wire early Thursday, with reports of Q1 revenue topping $1.7 billion. 

Activision later released its earnings, with revenue of $1.9 billion. Analysts originally projected the company to post revenue of $1.32 billion.

After the brief pop in afternoon trading, shares were down about 2%. 

Trading on ATVI resumed after the leak froze the shares. Shares ended the day at $66.82, a decline of 2.3%.

Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. (TTWO - Get Report)   finished up 0.21% to $105.10 and Electronic Arts Inc. (EA - Get Report)  was up 1.03% to $120.17. 

"We do not comment on our stock price," said a spokesperson for Take-Two Interactive.

The release was initially posted on Dow Jones News Wire, but the report has not yet been verified by Activision.
