Please don't wait until April to file your 2017 tax return. We know its the last thing you're thinking about right now, but don't wait.
Especially because the average refund last year was almost $2,800. So if Uncle Sam is going to owe you money, why not get it back ASAP?!
The IRS starts accepting 2017 tax returns on January 29, so you can file now!
The actual deadline is April 17 this year, because the 15th is a Sunday and the 16th is a holiday in Washington, D.C.
But that doesn't mean you should wait until then. Get this drudgery out of the way!
