5 Ways Corporate America Scores Touchdowns at the Super Bowl
Corporate America has dug its cleats into Super Bowl LII.
Regardless of falling viewship, it still is one of the biggest sporting events of the year and so there is money to be made.
To start, the Super Bowl is the second biggest food consumption day, after Thanksgiving, according to the U. S. Department of Agriculture. So the likes of Yum Brands (YUM) - Get Report , Buffalo Wild Wings (BWLD) and PepsiCo (PEP) - Get Report are all over this.
Then of course Walt Disney Co. (DIS) - Get Report pays some of the winning athletes to say, "I'm going to Disney World!" right into the camera after the game.
- Fun fact: NY Giants Phil Simms, reportedly was paid $75,000 for the quick plug after he was named MVP of the 1987 game.
The winning trophy is made Tiffany & Co. and the official corporate partners range from Accenture (ACN) - Get Report and Delta (DAL) - Get Report are just some of the official partners of Super Bowl 52.
