Wildcard Weekend Started Strong Then Fizzled

There's always a lot of excitement heading into the NFL Playoffs. The hope and enthusiasm among fans, players, and coaches for their team to hoist the Lombardi Trophy is off the charts. But as with any single game elimination in professional sports, hope and enthusiasm is met with shattered teams for half the teams in action.

Unfortunately for the Colts, Seahawks, Football Team, Titans, Bears and Steelers, their contingency falls with the latter.

On the other hand, hope springs eternal for Bills, Rams, Buccaneers, Ravens, Saints, and Browns along with the two teams (Chiefs and Packers) that were so good in the regular season, they had the first week of playoffs off.

Quick Look at the odds for the Divisional Playoffs and Super Bowl

In this episode of Bull Market Fantasy, Jim Cramer and Bill Enright, recap all the action from Wild-Card Weekend and look ahead to the Divisional Playoffs.

The match-ups in the Divisional Playoffs give us as sports bettors and DFS players a much clearer picture of potential Super Bowl outcomes. With that in mind, Cramer and Enright didn't just stop at discussing the odds and over/under for this weekend's game, but also looked ahead for some favorable bets for the Super Bowl.

Head Coaching Vacancies

The Eagles, Cramer's favorite team, joined the likes of the Jets and Jaguars and fired their head coach. Doug Pederson won the Super Bowl with Philadelphia just three seasons ago and became the first head coach to get fired within five years of winning the Championship since 1970. Jim shared his thoughts about who he'd like to see as the next head coach of the Eagles. Some of the early candidates to replace Pederson include Eagles running back coach Deuce Staley, Oklahoma head coach Lincoln Riley, and Titans offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.
