Wall Street Meets Fantasy Football
Christian McCaffrey is having a career year in 2019. The Panthers running back is currently third in the NFL with 1,220 yards, tied for second with 12 rushing touchdowns, and leads all running backs with 86 receptions. His 22 fantasy point per game average is four points better than Dalvin Cook who is second for the position.
In other words...McCaffrey is dominant!
We pinned Carolina's running back up against Chewy which is currently trading at $24. The Pet product subscription service announced earnings earlier in the week and according to TheStreet's Katherine Ross the company had a loss per share of around 20 cents, which was short of analyst expectations for a loss of 16 cents per share.
Wall Street legend and lifelong fantasy football player Jim Cramer weighed in, admitting he didn't like the quarter for Chewy and thinks "Chewy is going to get hit on the expiration."
Cramer, who also runs a charitable trust portfolio that you can follow along with at ActionAlertsPlus.com, said he will be siding with McCaffrey for this match-up.
McCaffrey takes on the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15 which is allowing 22 points to opposing running backs according to our partners at FantasySP. Look for McCaffrey to find the end-zone as the Seahawks do allow an average of 0.9 touchdowns on a per game basis.
