Wall Street Meets Fantasy Football
Jameis Winston only trails Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott for most passing yards in the NFL with 4,115. The Buccaneers QB threw for 456 yards in Week 14, the ninth team he eclipsed the 300 yard mark. But can he do it again in Week 15 as Tampa Bay travels to Detroit to take on the Lions?
He'll have to do just a tad more than his per game average of 316 to win the battle against Adobe which is currently trading around $317. TheStreet's financial reporter Katherine Ross noted Adobe's stock is up 35% year to date and got a target bump from Morgan Stanley. Perhaps that's why wall street legend and avid fantasy football players Jim Cramer sided with the tech stock instead of the Buccaneers passer who Jim has on his fantasy team.
I on the other hand am taking Winston in this match-up. Even though he lost Mike Evans, the Buccaneers have plenty of options in their passing attack including wide receiver Chris Godwin and tight end OJ Howard to cover the loss of Evans.
Winston is throwing against a Lions defense that is giving up the 8th most points to opposing quarterbacks according to our partners at FantasySP and the 3rd most passing yards in the league with an average of 289.
