Week 10 Stock vs. Stat: Shake Shack vs. Odell Beckham Jr.
Odell Beckham Jr. and the Browns are struggling
Wall Street Legend and lifelong fantasy football player Jim Cramer is concerned about Shake Shack's lack of in-store revenue. As Katherine Ross points out in the video, Shack Shack is down about 3% over the last three months and had a rough quarter based on their latest earning report.
Like Shake Shack, the Browns are also struggling as shown by their miserable 2-6 record. Nick Kostos joined Bull Market Fantasy and compared Odell Beckham Jr. to this generation's version of Jerry Rice with one major caveat...OBJ is NOT getting the football. After eight weeks of NFL action, Beckham has just 39 catches on the year and is on pace for just 78 yards and 1,150 yards.
As of Tuesday, Shake Shack was trading at $64.57, about a 20 point decline since their earnings report on Monday. Meanwhile, the Browns receiver has games of 52 and 87 yards the last two games but as Nick points out, Beckham Jr. will be seeing a lot of Bills defensive back Tre'Davious White which has been a problem for all wide receivers this season.
Somewhere during the debate, Jim, Nick, and I started arguing about our food of choice when ordering from Chipolte. I argue the burrito is the best thing on their menu but both Jim and Nick say the burrito bowl is a much better choice since there are too many empty calories and carbohydrates in the regular burrito.
What side of the debate do you come out on? Shake Shack or Odell Beckham Jr? And while you're at it...are you a burrito or burrito bowl person?
