Week 10 Fantasy Football Sleepers: AJ Brown, Gus Edwards and OJ Howard

Each week, we try to find some sleepers for you to insert into your line-up. Most are pretty deep sleepers and all are players that are either on your bench or the waiver wire.

Here are your sleepers for week 9:

A.J. Brown - WR - TEN vs KC: A.J.- don’t call me Antonio - Brown is your sleeper of the week. The rookie is only 20% owned in ESPN leagues so likely available on your wire. Brown is clicking with new QB Tannehill and led the receiver corps last week in targets and put up 81 receiving yards. Tannehill is interception prone but hitting his stride with more than 300 yards passing last week. That should continue against Kansas City at home this week. If Mahomes is back, it could be a shootout. It’s rare to get the No. 1 WR (sorry Corey Davis) on a decent team this late in the season. Here’s your chance.

Gus Edwards - RB - BAL vs CIN: “Quoth the Raven. Run it more.” The running game is sweet poetry in Baltimore and there’s room for a third wheel there with Gus Edwards joining in on the fun with Lamar Jackson and Mark Ingram. (General observation: Edgar Allan Poe would likely be freaked out by the Redzone Channel.) Edwards found the endzone last week against the Patriots and could get more opportunities to run the ball against the Bengals. It’s likely a blowout with BAL -10.5 so Jackson and Ingram may catch a break. Gus Edwards garbage time.

O.J. Howard - TE - TB vs ARI: My second-least favorite OJ in the world after I had to drop him after drafting him pretty high. Others did the same as he’s now only rostered in a little over 40% of ESPN leagues. I think it may be time to pick him back up this week heading into the warm embrace of the Arizona Cardinals. They’re giving up 15 points a game to tight ends and no one is even close after that.

Great write up. Some possible gems.
