Straw That Broke the Camel's Back; Jalen Ramsey Made Jaguars Owner Shad Khan Look bad During Interview

During an interview with Bull Market Fantasy's Katherine Ross, Jaguars owners Shad Khan said disgruntled cornerback Jalen Ramsey would be active in Week 6 but he wasn't. Three days later, Ramsey was traded.

Jaguars Send Ramsey to the Rams in Exchange For Draft Picks

The Jaguars finally gave in to Jalen Ramsey's trade requests and shipped him to the Rams in exchange for a 1st Round draft pick in 2020, 2021 and 4th Round pick in 2021. Ramsey claimed a back injury kept him out of action for the last few weeks but the writing was on the wall regarding his health, there wasn't really a back injury and Ramsey just didn't want to suit up for Jacksonville any longer. Am I just speculating about Ramsey's lack of back pain? Perhaps just a bit. But fact is, Ramsey will suit up for the Rams in Week 7 and is not listed on their injury report. Did he magically heal in just three days?

Last week Bull Market Fantasy's Katherine Ross spoke to Jaguars owner Shad Khan and asked him about his relationship with the Pro Bowl cornerback. Khan told Ross he and Ramsey had a heart-to-heart conversation and vowed Ramsey would play in Week 6. Sure enough, when the Jaguars released their active/inactive list on Gameday in Week 6, Ramsey was ruled out.

And that was the final straw. Making the team owner look like a fool during a video interview along with the months of drama between Ramsey and the team had finally taken its toll. 72 hours after not playing despite the owner saying he would and Ramsey found himself on a new team.

Ramsey along with his new team, play against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7.
