Stock vs. Stat With Two American Classics: Harley Davidson vs. New England Patriots

The Patriots have dominated the NFL the last 20 years and through seven games in the 2019 season have once again established themselves as the best team in the NFL but can their Week 8 point total outproduce Harley Davidson's stock price? Jim Cramer and his team of football analysts debate.

Week 8 Stock vs. Stat: Harley Davidson Against New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are off to a fantastic start in 2019. With a 7-0 record, they are one of two undefeated teams (49ers are 6-0) in the NFL. The Patriots are averaging 31 points per game which leads the NFL. But it isn't just their Offense scoring points. Their Defense has six touchdowns this season (which is more than most running backs).

With a match-up against the Browns who are giving up an average of 25 points to their opposition, the Pats are in a prime spot to score well into the 30s in Week 8. In fact, when playing in New England, the Patriots have scored 33, 30, and 35 points.

Meanwhile, motorcycle manufacturer Harley Davidson is currently trading around $34 but thanks to an excellent Quarter, Harley is continuing to climb up the stock charts.

Wall Street Legend Jim Cramer says Harley's 3rd Quarter revenue had more to do with cost cutting than actual revenue growth. Katherine Ross points to the US/China trade war as interfering with Harley's true potential.

The Browns are coming off a bye week, so have had plenty of time to prepare for the Pats, but sitting at 2-4 can Cleveland really contend with the reigning Super Bowl Champions?Tom Brady has just one touchdown pass in his last two outings but Sony Michel ran for three scores agains the Jets and once again, the Patriots Defense is scoring on a regular basis. Should be an interesting match-up not just between the Browns and Patriots but also in our stock vs. stat game with the Pats and Harley Davidson.
