Stock Vs. Stat: Jim Cramer Picks Between Bank of America and Lamar Jackson

Katherine Ross

Time to take a look at stock versus stat.

It's our final stock versus stat for 2019.

So who are we focusing on?

We're putting the stock of Bank of America up against the fantasy points of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Bank of America, which trades under the ticker BAC, is currently trading around $35.

The stock is up a whopping 49% in the past year.

The stock is a quiet winner, it's not in the headlines too often.

Jim Cramer wrote about Bank of America--and the banks in general--on the heels of the Phase One trade deal between the U.S. and China.

Cramer broke down how the trade deal benefits specific stocks, which included Bank of America. Here's what he had to say.

"Then there are the banks and fin techs. These companies are widely perceived as the ones who will be able to fly unfettered, without bogus partners, because of stage one. JP Morgan, Bank of America, Citigroup, Mastercard, Visa, and PayPal, which is already there, truly had their day in the sun. Again, ETFs make all banks and fintechs go up when these go up. It's what's happened. Live by the ETF, die by the ETF," Cramer wrote.

Both Bill Enright, co-host of Bull Market Fantasy, and Jim Cramer agreed that they would go with Lamar Jackson over the stock of Bank of America.

Who would you go with?
