Week 7 Waiver Wire: Quarterbacks

At the start of the season we saw quite a few quarterbacks go down with injuries including Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees, Cam Newton, and Nick Foles. Luckily there hasn't been too many passers with injuries the last few weeks but we do have four teams on bye in Week 7.

Jets quarterback Sam Darnold missed the team's last three games due to mononucleosis but returned in a big way in Week 6 as he led the Jets to a victory over the Cowboys. Darnold threw for 338 yards and two touchdowns against a Dallas defense that didn't allow a passing TD in their previous three games.

Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is having a mid-season turn around thanks in large part to playing against two weak NFC East secondaries in the Giants and Eagles. After starting off the year with just three touchdowns in three games, Cousins now has six scores in the last two weeks.

As Jim Day from Sports Illustrated Fantasy and I discuss both Cousins and Darnold headline our list of passers to add as we head in to Week 7. But there's a handful of other QBs to consider as well depending on your league's size and the amount of passers you start:

1. Sam Darnold New York Jets

2. Kirk Cousins, Minnesota Vikings

3. Jacoby Brissett, Indianapolis Colts

4. Gardner Minshew, Jacksonville Jaguars

5. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Miami Dolphins

6.  Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans
