Ignore Jonathan Williams but Pickup James Washington on the Week 12 Waiver Wire

Bill Enright

If you are serious about winning your fantasy football league you can't afford to miss Jim Cramer and Bill Enright's Waiver Wire picks for Week 12.

Week 12 Waiver Wire

The Fantasy Football playoffs start in just two weeks and whether teams are looking to make a late season push to the post-season or already locked up a playoff birth, they can't ignore the waiver wire.

Jim Cramer and I run through more than a dozen players heading into Week 12 but not all players we discuss are worthy of being picked up. Some of these players, like Colts running back Jonathan Williams, might be popular pickups among the other pretender fantasy football services. Our goal of Bull Market Fantasy has always been helping our audience become better fantasy players. If we told our viewers to just pickup every player after one big game, we would be doing a tremendous disservice. Fact is Williams had a big game once Marlon Mack went out with a broken hand but more importantly the only reason he handled double digit touches has more to do with Jordan Wilkins being out and less to do with Williams' ability. With Wilkins expected back in Week 12 and Mack returning before Week 14, it would be ill-advised to grab the Colts rusher.

There are of course players we think should be added off waivers. James Washington of the Steelers comes to mind. With JuJu Smith-Schuster and Diontae Johnson dealing with concussions and other injuries, Washington will be in line for a heavy volume of targets in Week 12 when Pittsburgh takes on the Bengals.

Check out the video for our analysis on who to pick up or who to avoid where we analyze the following players:

Quarterbacks: Baker Mayfield, Jeff Driskel

Running Backs: Bo Scaraborough, Joanthan Williams, Jordan Wilkins, Gus Edwards

Wide Receivers: Deebo Samuel, Dante Pettis, Randall Cobb, DeVante Parkere, James Washington, Darrius Slayton

Tight Ends: Noah Fant, Jacob Hollister

There's four teams on a bye this week but plenty of fantasy studs that will be difficult to replace in people's lineups. Some of the players on bye include:

Quarterbacks: Patrick Mahomes, Kyler Murray, Kirk Cousins, Philip Rivers

Running Backs: Dalvin Cook, Damien Williams, LeSean McCoy, Melvin Gordon, Austin Ekeler, David Johnson, Kenyan Drake

Wide Receivers: Tyreek Hill, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen Christian Kirk

Tight Ends: Travis Kelce, Hunter Henry, Kyle Rudolp
