Game of the Week: How the Packers Aaron Rodgers Will Project Against the 49ers Top-Ranked Defense

Katherine Ross

The 49ers and the Packers are set to take the field Sunday. How will this match-up go?

It's that time of the week again.

That's right, it's time for Bull Market Fantasy's Game of the Week.

This week, we're focusing on the Green Bay Packers as they face off against the San Francisco 49ers.

Bill Enright, co-host of Jim Cramer's Bull Market Fantasy live show, and Bill Huber, Packers Maven, broke down what Fantasy owners should keep in mind.

First of all, the 49ers are 9-1 while the Packers are 8-2.

Now, one question going into this game is whether or not Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Packers, is still feeling snubbed by the 49ers.

Let's back up a little, why would Rodgers feel snubbed?

Well, in 2005, the 49ers had the chance to take Rodgers with the No. 1 pick. However, they didn't. Instead, the 49ers chose Alex Smith.

Fast-forward to 2019, how does Rodgers feel about the 49ers today?

Huber explained that he didn't think that Rodgers still carries a grudge.

"No, I think that's ancient history. You know, maybe long ago it was a big deal for him, but you know...Especially because he's 35 going on 36. He just wants to win. It's been a long time since he won the Super Bowl. That was back in 2010. He knows that these kinds of opportunities do not come around very often, so really he's only focused on winning this football game," explained Huber.

Okay, so maybe the draft pick is no longer on Rodgers mind, but how is he going to project against the 49ers top-ranked defense?
