Week 8 Waiver Wire: Tight Ends
Finding a quality tight end on the Waiver Wire is easy if you know what to look for and how to analyze the RIGHT stats. Too often the casual fantasy player simply looks at the end of game stat line to evaluate a player's value. But that is only a small piece to a very intricate puzzle. Here at Bull Market Fantasy we not only identify the quality waiver wire pickups before they become trendy but we highlight the stats that actually matter so you understand why some players are quality pickups and others are just a waste of your time. We're educating here people!!!
Now about those stats I was referring to earlier. It's great when a player has a bunch of catches, yards, and touchdowns. But in order to identify trends and not just "FITP" (Flash In The Pan) you have to look deeper than that. Our partners at FantasySP do an excellent job of highlighting the stats that matter. We're talking specifically about targets, snap percentage, red-zone targets and catch rate. All of the players I mention below and discuss in the video above have had a steady increase in those key metrics. Why do they matter? Targets and Red-Zone targets is all about opportunity. Players getting a lot of looks from their quarterback are more likely to produce more stats. Same with snap percentage. A player that's on the field more than his teammates are more likely to make plays. It's not rocket-science. It's actually quite simple. But even the world's best carpenter can't build a house without the right tools. Bull Market Fantasy provides you with the right tools.
