Game Stacks and DFS  Advice: Conference Championships

DraftKings Conference Clash Millionaire contest has $4 million in total prizes with $1  million dollars going to first place. Remember the Guaranteed Prize Pool contests are tough, that’s why we dedicate most of our bankroll to Cash Games or smaller contests. With only four teams in action and a limited player pool, our options are limited.

Our strategy for this weekend revolves around three key players; Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, and Davante Adams. They are the foundation of our lineup base. People might argue it doesn’t make sense to use Patrick Mahomes considering he’s the highest-priced quarterback. But Mahomes had 21 points last week and barely played in the 2nd half.

Bills receiver Stefon Diggs has been just as productive as Hill and Adams this season. But here’s the problem, no running back is less than $4,000. So if you started with Adams, Diggs, Hill, and Kelce, you won’t have enough money to fill out your lineup. It basically forces your hand to remove one of them from your lineup. The total cost for those four players is over 30,000. So for this Sophie's Choice of receivers, we are taking Hill and Adams over Diggs.

Because there are only four teams, we have to find some bargain buys and low ownership players at less than $4,000. We are not suggesting using all four of these players, but rather using them as an option for the flex spot. Scotty Miller costs $3,400, he’s a good bet for at least one deep pass and with Antonio Brown ruled out, should see some more opportunities than usual. DeMarcus Robinson at $3,700 if Sammy Watkins doesn't play can get around 10-12 points without having to find the end-zone.  Marques Valdes Scantling at $3,900 is the biggest boom or bust player all weekend. Finally, Bills tight end Dawson Knox at $2,800 is the most productive bottom of the barrel player.
