Week 7 Waiver Wire: Tight Ends

As if the tight end position wasn't thin enough already, the 4th leading scorer for the position is now out for the year with Will Dissly landing on Injured Reserve. Dissly tore his Achilles' tendon during the team's Week 6 win over the Browns, it's the second time in his two year career he suffered a season ending injury. The Seahawks playmaker was leading all tight ends with four scores on the year.

In addition to Dissly being out of lineups for Week 7 (and the rest of the year) there's a handful of other TEs, OJ Howard, Greg Olsen, and Vance McDonald, on their bye that will also be out of action. It leave a massive void in starting lineups.

Luckily we do think there's a few tight ends that can be used as streaming options and maybe if you're lucky, permanent replacements in your lineup. Sports Illustrated's Jim Day joined Katherine Ross and me to talk about the tight ends fantasy football players need to pick up in Week 7. For detailed analysis on why we like Darren Fellas and Luke Willson, check out the video above.

1. Darren Fells-Houston Texans

2. Luke Willson-Seattle Seahawks

3. Noah Fant, Denver Broncos

4. Eric Ebron, Indianapolis Colts

5. Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts

6, Ben Watson, New England Patriots

Keep in mind of your scoring system when evaluating this group of tight ends. Jack Doyle is better than his teammate Eric Ebron in the PPR format but if you play in a standard league with an emphasis on touchdowns, Ebron would be the better option.
