Dolphins covered in their last five games
With a 2-7 record the Dolphins are considered one of the worst teams in the NFL. Surprisingly they are on a two game winning streak. Even bigger surprise, they've covered the last five games. That betting info comes from friend of the program, Nick Kostos, who stopped by Bull Market Fantasy to talk point spread for Week 11 and how it can help fantasy football players evaluate who to start.
This week the Dolphins take on the Bills in Miami and the spread is 6.5 points. Back when the Dolphins played in Buffalo in Week 6, they covered the 17 point spread despite losing 31-21. This week the spread is much smaller, but with the Dolphins suddenly invigorated with Ryan Fitzpatrick under-center, Kostos tells Jim Cramer to take the 'Fins with the points.
Miami has covered in their last five outings, the Bills lost two of their last three games and are 1-4 against the spread the last month.
How does this impact your fantasy football team? For starters there's few options from either team fantasy managers are using from the Bills or Dolphins. Outside of Buffalo wide receiver John Brown and his quarterback Josh Allen, there's not many other factors. However, both Nick and I do like running back Devin Singletary to have a big game in Miami. The Bills rookie had 135 total yards and a touchdown in Week 9 after touching the ball 23 times against the Redskins. But in Week 10, Singletary handled just eleven touches and totaled just 50 yards. Miami is giving up the 6th most points to opposing running backs and the most rushing yards on a per game basis according to our partners at FantasySP. If Singletary sees over 15 touches, he'll be one of the better performing running backs in Week 11.
