David Harris is a Senior Investment Director for Fixed Income at Schroders with 28 years of professional investment experience. Harris is responsible for leading the development of all of Schroders Fixed Income business in the Americas and is also senior investment strategist as part of the U.S. Multi-Sector investment team.
Prior to becoming Senior Investment Director, Harris was the Head of U.S. Multi-Sector Fixed income in New York and a Senior U.S. Fixed Income Portfolio Manager, leading Schroders U.S. multi-sector client accounts and mutual funds. Prior to Schroders in 1992, Harris was with Irwin Management Company, Weston Financial Group, and State Street Bank & Trust, responsible for fixed income investments, venture capital and real estate investments.
Harris’s expertise in managing fixed income portfolios includes U.S. governments and interest rates strategy, sector allocation, portfolio construction and risk budgeting. David has his Masters of Business Administration from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
