Prior to joining The, Rebecca Byrne spent three years covering the stock market for Bridge News. She also contributed to Webfn--a financial news program and Web site-- providing live interviews from the New York Stock Exchange and AMEX.

Prior to that, she worked for an online magazine in New York, writing and editing news updates.

Byrne graduated with honors from Birmingham University in England with a degree in history.
