She has worked as a staff reporter for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the San Diego Union-Tribune and The Patriot Ledger. She was also part of a team of KPBS/NPR reporters that won a 2011 national Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism. Mia is based in Southern California, where she also blogs about the local luxury dining and travel scene.
