Marc Levy joined TheStreet in July 2010 while exploring hyperlocal online journalism in Cambridge, Mass. He had previously been executive editor of a cluster of about two dozen daily and weekly newspapers and their Web sites in central Connecticut; an entrepreneur in daily print journalism, again in Cambridge; and on the business desk of the Boston Herald for five years. He has a journalism degree from Emerson College in Boston.
