Before working at TheStreet, Laurie was a reporter for American Banker, where she wrote about banks and markets. Prior to American Banker, she was the online managing editor at Financial Planning magazine.

 

Laurie received a Bachelor's degree in English literature from Binghamton University and a Master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
