A new leak from Apple (AAPL) seems to suggest that the iPhone 8 will include wireless charging, a feature widely speculated the next iteration of the iPhone would come equipped with.
A post on Reddit, and reported by BGR.com shows two images of code related to Apple's upcoming HomePod that confirms the wireless charging feature.
It is doubtful that Apple would write code that allows for wireless charging on iOS devices if the next generation of the iPhone did not support the feature, BGR reported.
The images also suggest that the software will support super-fast charging and a high-resolution screen. Not included is the Touch ID sensor beneath the phone's display.
