Home Depot will benefit from the improving housing market and enhanced sales productivity, said Bill Bell, portfolio manager for Atlanta Capital Select Equity Growth for Eaton Vance. Bell added that Home Depot still has earnings upside even after its strong fourth quarter results. He said Ross Stores will benefit from increasing wages and low oil prices, as well as conservative guidance to Wall Street analysts. Finally, Bell is positive on shares of U.S. Bancorp, saying the bank's management is first class and that its net interest margins will improve as interest rates rise.
