Where to Invest as Stocks Look to Bounce Back From Rough Prior Week
Stocks are looking to bounce back from a rough prior week.
Stocks are looking to bounce back from a rough prior week. The markets have been down for three straight weeks. Stephen Freedman, Head of Cross Asset Strategy, UBS Wealth Management Research (UBS) says 'with the bull market having celebrated its sixth anniversary last week, concerns have emerge that it has become long in the tooth. We believe that bull markets do not die of old age but rather end because valuations become excessive or because a recession hits.' Freedman says other signs of a bull market peak are also not happening. In terms of sectors, UBS is currently overweight Information Technology, Consumer Discretionary and Industrials and prefers small and mid-cap stocks.
