Analysts remain positive on Intel, but Broadcom and Microsoft could see troubles ahead, all in Friday's Analysts' Actions. Intel slashed first quarter guidance as it faces lower PC demand. But that didn't deter Canaccord which upgraded it to BUY, though price targets were reduced to $38 a share. The firm said despite weak PC sales, strength in its data center division will continue to drive growth. Canaccord wasn't so bullish on Broadcom, downgrading to a HOLD and reducing price targets to $47 a share. Microsoft had its price target reduced to $48 at Pacific Crest after competitor Intel warned of weakness in desktop PC demand.
