Sam Stovall, chief investment strategist at CFRA Research, expects the S&P 500 to keep rising this year. His research suggest gains in August and September mean the market typically rallies for the remainder of the year.
His 12-month price target on the S&P 500 is 2,560, a slight increase from the 2,500 level breached on Friday.
