Google (GOOGL) - Get Report is building a smart device to compete with Amazon's (AMZN) - Get Report Echo Show, according to a report from TechCrunch.
The device has been given the code name "Manhattan" and will have a screen size similar to the 7-inch Echo Show. It will have access to YouTube and Google Assistant and users will be able to make video calls.
Google has not commented on the report.
