raised its third-quarter guidance, saying it now expects revenue and earnings above consensus estimates.

The optoelectronic system developer now sees third-quarter pro forma earnings of 14 to 16 cents a share on revenue of $32 million. According to Thomson Financial/First Call, Wall Street analysts had been expecting the company to earn 12 cents a share on revenue of $30.4 million.

OSI's stock closed Monday on Nasdaq at $22.35.
