Cisco

, as its president.
As president and COO, Daichendt will report to Nortel CEO Bill Owens.
Daichendt was head of worldwide operations at Cisco before he resigned in December 2000. Since then, he has served on the board of Oxnard, Calif.-based Chromux, an optical-equipment shop. Daichendt has also been a director at Walk Thru The Bible, a Christian leadership organization.
Additionally, he joined the board of ClickAction in 2000. ClickAction was purchased by direct mail database keeper
