Hewlett-Packard Falls on Comments
Hewlett-Packard (HWP) was down 5.2% in late morning trading after the company said its May consumer and business sales were weak in all regions.
The No. 1 desktop computer printer maker said its results show the IT spending slowdown has moved beyond the U.S. and Europe to the rest of the world.
The company also said it is taking further cost-cutting measures to meet analysts' estimates of 22 cents a share.
