Jeb Bush wants to repeal every regulatory act passed during the Obama administration.

When asked by moderator Maria Bartiromo during Tuesday night's GOP debate what specific regulations he would change in order to encourage economic growth, Bush replied, "On the regulatory side, I think we need to repeal every rule that Barack Obama has in terms of work in progress -- every one of them."

The emphatic way he landed on that last phrase -- perhaps the result of media coaching toward a more authoritative optic? -- won him some hollers and applause from the crowd.

Jeb went after a few of Obama's policies in particular: the Clean Power Plan, the Waters of the United States rule and the various Internet regulatory measured passed during the Obama administration.

Although, it should be noted that he flubbed their conventional names.

"The regulation of the Internet -- we have to start over, but we ought to do that," Jeb said. "The Clean Power Act [sic] -- we ought to repeal that, and start over on that. The Waters of the United States Act [sic], which is going to be devastating for agriculture and many industries -- we should repeal that."

"We should repeal the rules," he added, "because the economic costs of this far exceed the social benefit."

Jeb also used his time behind the podium to repeat his refrain of 4% GDP growth, seemingly barking back at critics who've suggested that 4% is an unrealistic number.

"We can get to 4% growth," he said. "The new normal of 2% puts huge demands on government."
