TheStreet.com Names David Morrow to Succeed Dave Kansas as Editor-in-Chief

announced today that David Morrow, articles editor of
SmartMoney
magazine, will become editor-in-chief, succeeding Dave Kansas.
Kansas, who has been with TheStreet.com for four-and-one-half years, will remain with the company until early July to help with the transition in leadership. Kansas will also vacate his seat on the financial-news organization's board of directors.

Kansas, a pioneer in online journalism, has worked at TheStreet.com since September 1996, helping to build the news organization from its infancy. He became editor-in-chief in April 1997. Before that, he worked for five years at

, most recently as the newspaper's financial markets reporter.
