The headliner for American Idols Live Tour 2008. That means a lot of singing and traveling for the Idols and may be reason to brush up on the etiquette of business travel.

The next American Idol (NWS) - Get Report will be a David, the question is will it be David Archuleta or David Cook.

What is not a question, even before the top Idol is crowned May 21, is what both young men will be doing this summer:

They'll be touring

with the ten runner-ups (including the losing David). The American Idols Live Tour 2008 kicks off on July 1, in Glendale, Ariz., and after making its way around the country will come to an end on September 13, in Tulsa, Okla.

When they hit the road, the Idols will be looking to advance their singing careers and to set up potential

opportunities for their futures as entertainers

. Taking care of business on the road in a professional manner, experts agree, is a key first step. And while Cook, 25, has had experience touring with his former band Axium, for Archuleta, who is just 17 and still in high school, this business trip will be a first.
