A federal judge reportedly declined on Monday to set a trial date for criminal charges against several former
Enron
executives, including former Chief Financial Officer Andrew Fastow.
Prosecutors said it might take two months to set up their case against Fastow, as well as Ben Glisan Jr., former treasurer, and Dan Boyle, former Enron finance executive, according to a
Dow Jones Newswires
report.
Fastow also was arraigned on new charges from an indictment filed by prosecutors on May 1, the report said. One of Fastow's attorneys reportedly entered an innocent plea.
The added charges inflate the possible prison time for Fastow to 1,142 years, according to documents provided by the Enron Task Force,
Dow Jones
said.
