Hot Trends: Wachovia Online Banking

Wachovia online banking is a hot topic Friday afternoon, after reports surface on Twitter that people are having trouble logging into their online bank accounts. Wachovia, which is owned by
Wells Fargo

, has not addressed the issue on its Web site.
The West Virginia mine owned by
Massey Energy

(MEE)
, which was the site of a deadly explosion earlier this week, continues to be a trending topic on Google.
The explosion, which occurred Monday afternoon, killed 25 miners and four are still missing, the company said. This was the worst U.S. mining disaster since 1984.
According to several reports, Massey's mine had hefty unpaid fines due to safety violations, including problems with the ventilation system that clears away combustible methane gas.
Massey said on Friday that it plans to produce more coal from other mines to help recover from the damage caused by the explosion.
Greece's debt crisis has once again become a major concern in U.S. markets -- and, apparently, the searches of the online world -- as worries grew yesterday about the country's ability to repay its debt. But the head of European Central Bank reassured the market that Greece will not default on its loans.
These words of comfort, coupled with strong March retail sales data and today's focus on wholesale inventory data, are leading futures higher Friday morning.
Apple's

leader Steve Jobs is a trending topic on Google after he unveiled on Thursday the iPhone OS 4.0 system.
The new software, which will become available this summer, will add capabilities such as multi-tasking, folders and a unified e-mail inbox.
Another feature is the iAd, which is Apple first attempt at mobile advertising. The platform will provide application developers a new stream of revenue.

has aired its newest ad campaign, which features Woods, is narrated by the voice of his late father.
Jobs at
United Parcel Service
(UPS) - Get Report
topped Google's search terms for the second day in a row, after the company announced it is looking to hire 25,000 employees at $70,000 each.
All of those hired must pass a virtual driving test. UPS will be looking to fill slots that will be vacated by retiring workers over the next five years.
Meanwhile, the debut of
Microsoft's
(MSFT) - Get Report
Gears of War 3
video game was accidentally announced on Friday -- sending the search engines of the world ablaze. It appears insiders at Microsoft leaked the game's release date through an advertisement shown on Xbox 360's dashboard.
The ad says the game will be launching in April 2011.
