High Prices for New York Baseball led by Yankees Stature and Mets Optimism
NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- For the first time in a long time, there may be more optimism in Queens compared to the Bronx leading into a Major League Baseball season.
As the 2015 MLB regular season approaches, the New York Mets are experiencing a level of optimism that the New York Yankees have come to expect since the 1990s. Maybe it's not championship or bust quite yet, but the Mets' young pitchers have fans expecting the team to contend for a playoff position, where as fans in the Bronx are relying on a lot of older players that may be past their primes for a successful 2015.
