Glued to the Screen?
When you book your airline tickets, do you use an online travel agency?
Last time we asked for your opinion -- in November -- we were looking for your views on how the airlines treated business travelers. And we got an earful.
This time, we are not focusing on the airlines or their Web sites but on Internet travel agencies, which are proliferating as people become more comfortable making online transactions. Some of these sites claim to have millions of subscribers each and report bookings of more than $100 million a year.
If you use an Internet travel Web site, we would like to hear about your experiences. Which site do you use most often and why? Which sites do you hate? Do you think you get the best deal by using an online travel agency?
The questions are listed below. Please just copy and paste the survey below into an email addressed to
hhegeman@nkn.net. Reply with clearly written answers, or answers marked appropriately (put an X next to each choice), no later than next Saturday, March 13. We will report on the findings the following Saturday.
As always, we are offering much-sought-after goodies to get you to take the time to respond. This time we are sending out a
TSC
coffee cup and a long-sleeved, oh-so-chic
TSC
shirt to one lucky participant, who will be drawn at random from the pile we get in the email box.
So, remember: Get these back to me no later than next Saturday.
In the meantime, we will be reviewing the major online travel agencies, and reporting our findings back to you in two weeks as well.
