Gold Futures Tick Ahead
Lean hog prices fall 0.9%.
Gold prices were slightly higher Tuesday, but other metals were moving marginally lower in New York trading.
Recently, gold was up 40 cents at $739.70 an ounce, and silver was down 4 cents at $13.61 an ounce. Copper was losing about half a cent to $3.64 a pound.
Among agricultural commodities, soybeans and oats fell. Wheat was stronger.
Coffee and cocoa were both better by more than 1%. Frozen concentrated orange juice advanced 2.2%. Lean hogs were down 0.9%.
