Asia Markets and Stock Futures Mixed
Asian markets and U.S. stock futures were mixed in early Friday trading as another missile launch by North Korea made headlines.
Japan's Nikkei 225 rose 12.88 points, or 0.07%, to 19,820.32. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng fell 206.56 points, or 0.74%, to 27,570.64. Stocks were 0.69% lower in Singapore at 3,198.76.
In U.S. stock futures overnight, Dow futures were down 23 points, or 0.10%, at 22,149. Nasdaq and S&P futures were also down, 0.14% and 0.18% respectively, at 5,962.25 and 2,489.75.
Gold futures were up $5.60, or 0.42%, to $1,334.90, while oil futures were down 0.44%, to 49.67.
On Wall Street Friday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 45.30 points, to close 0.20% higher, at 22,203.48. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq both fell, 0.11% and 0.48%, respectively, to close at 2,495.62 and 6,429.08.
